The word "Temrag" has been transformed over the centuries from its original name “Tempest Crag”. A very fitting name given the rough and unnaturally stormy weather in these parts.

Temrag on the continent ??? of [[aethara:aethara|Aethara]] is roughly 90,000 km² big and consists of four major regions: the southern [[aethara:regions:storms-of-temrag:stormhaven|Stormhaven]], the northern inlands [[aethara:regions:storms-of-temrag:rumbling-rocks|Rumbling Rocks]], the northern coastal area [[aethara:regions:storms-of-temrag:storms-peril|Storms Peril]] and of course the western [[aethara:regions:storms-of-temrag:temrag-sea|Temrag Sea]] with its many islands. Temrag is often referred to as "The Borderlands" by common folk, as it marks the borderlands between the human kingdoms to the far north and the dwarven empires to the south. Therefore these lands are teeming with personalities of all kinds and races.

Two major factions in Temrag are the wicked [[aethara:factions:storms-of-temrag:black-scourge|Black Scourge]] and the righteous [[aethara:factions:storms-of-temrag:order-of-the-temrag-sea|Order of the Temrag Sea]].
